The Canal Festival and Rockfish Run

The Canal festival will focus on celebrating the history of the Roanoke Canal Trail and the Roanoke River.

There will be live music, demonstrations and vendors, Rockfish Muddle Tastings, Hotdogs and BBQ Sandwiches (proceeds to benefit the Roanoke Rapids Youth Baseball Association), bouncy houses, a rock climbing wall, and games for children and adults.

We will also be having our Rockfish Run at 10:00 a.m. This will be a 5k fun run on the Canal Trail. We will be awarding prizes to top overall finishers, but we want to make sure everyone understands, the Rockfish Run is designed to be fun, not competitive! Even if you've never ran a 5k, join us for this event, and you'll be glad you did!
