More on Social Media

The first Halifax Harvest Days were held on October 10, 1992. This year Halifax County will celebrate 31 years of promoting heritage, southern hospitality, and agrarian culture! Thousands of visitors have traveled to Halifax County to learn more about the county’s past and present agricultural heritage. Festival goers continue to enjoy the heritage farm equipment such as antique tractors, farm exhibits and demonstrations like the sawmill, peanut threshing, and corn shucking.
Music and entertainment will be enjoyed throughout the day at the outdoor amphitheater. Make sure you bring your appetite to this event! Homemade goodies, as well as traditional festival food, will be available throughout the day. Visit the Educational Exhibits area at the Rosenwald School, and walk through the early 1900’s Farmhouse. The Halifax County Agricultural Museum allows hands-on cotton threshing, exhibits of farm equipment, and pictures of honored military. Make your plans now to enjoy this year's event!
