Crystal Rapids Car Wash located at 1329 E. 10th Street in Roanoke Rapids recently joined the Roanoke Valley Rocks tour. This family-owned business continues The Halifax County Convention & Visitors Bureau’s efforts to raise awareness of local businesses in Halifax County. Crystal Rapids has been in operation for over 45 years and is the most experienced car wash in the area with over a million cars washed to date. They are open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and offer monthly memberships. Each car wash purchased includes a free vacuum service. The staff at Crystal Rapids wants to make you feel taken care of and to let you know you’re in good hands. “Come out to Crystal Rapids and treat your car to a spa day and turn your blues to bubbles with car wash therapy.”

Roanoke Valley Rocks is a public relations/public arts campaign designed to uplift and inspire our community and visitors. The Halifax County Convention & Visitors Bureau is committed to making the Roanoke Valley a great place to visit. This program has been successful because of the many local businesses that “launched” fish at their locations and supported the project.
