Weldon and Beyond Art Show

Co-hosts Weldon in Action and Halifax County Arts Council are holding this fundraiser that is in its 2nd year. Proceeds will help fund their projects. Showcasing artists (including woodworking and ceramics as well as water colors, pastels and oils) from Weldon and beyond. Friday night has ticketed ($25) "Exclusive Preview" for patrons that want live music along with a speciality cocktail or mocktail and hors d'oeuvres. First dibs on the artwork! Many artists will be present. Then the event is free and open to the public an hour later with a cash bar and food. The next day enjoy the free event with a more casual vibe for patrons to view the show as well as new this year: Botox and bourbon! There is a cost for both the Botox and the bourbon; part of the proceeds from the cost associated to the patrons of the botox will be donated to the event. Come join new and old friends and help these nonprofits continue their work in the community.
