Sylvan Heights Bird Park's "Fly for Five 5K & Fun Run"

A unique 5K race through the bird park and surrounding areas, plus a family fun run/walk!

The Course:

The Sylvan Heights Bird Park Fly for 5 Run will wind through the Park and surrounding area to provide a one of a kind race experience. During your race you will pass lush aviaries that include some of the rarest birds from around the world. Your cheering squad will include flamingos, ducks, geese, swans, peacocks, and even an emu! After the 5k race there will be a non competitive family fun run/walk. The race will help to race critical funds to support the education and conservation efforts of Sylvan Heights Bird Park.

The 5k route is a loop with limited rolling hills. Pathways will include paved trails, gravel paths, farm paths and paved roads. Because of the terrain of the event strollers will not be allowed in the 5k. They are permitted in the Fun Run/Walk. The Fun Run/Walk will begin at 8:45.
