"Bites of History" Event at Hen and Hog Restaurant in Halifax sponsored by Friends of Historic Halifax on Tuesday evening January 21. Jim Beckwith will talk about Sir Archie, the famous racehorse that was once owned by William R. Davie in Halifax. Horse racing was a passion and a past time during colonial times and Sir Archie was famous for both winning races and being the sire of other winning horses.
