A full day of activities celebrating the 243rd anniversary of the Halifax Resolves. School group tours and living history activities will take place during the morning. The NC Society Sons of the American Revolution will hold a wreath-laying ceremony at 10:30 a.m. featuring a guest speaker at the Colonial Courthouse site. The annual Halifax Day program, sponsored by the Historical Halifax Restoration Association will take place at 2:30 p.m. and features a guest speaker followed by a reception. Throughout the day, tours and living history activities will take place in and around the site’s historic buildings.
