Independence Day at Historic Halifax

Musket firing demonstrations, a special reading of the Declaration of Independence, and fireworks at dark will make this a Fourth of July to remember in the historic town of Halifax! Historic Halifax will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Join historic interpreters for tours of historic buildings, demonstration and a reading of the Declaration of Independence! At 5:00 p.m the Town of Halifax will host it's annual July 4th Celebration and fireworks display on the grounds of the modern Halifax County Court House (357 Ferrell Ln, Halifax, NC 27839) There will be plenty of food, music, children's activities and more. The celebration ends with a fireworks display at about 9 p.m!
