Topic: “Black Patriots in Revolutionary Halifax”
In honor of Black History Month, Historic Halifax State Historic Site will highlight the contributions of African American soldiers during the American Revolution. This “Bites of History” presentation will emphasize the stories of African Americans from Halifax, North Carolina, that fought to bring us our independence.

Frank McMahon is the Assistant Site Manager at Historic Halifax State Historic Site. He holds a master’s degree in Park and Resource Management and a bachelor’s degree in Archaeology.
