SolarFest marks the anniversary of C4EE. Come celebrate another year of renewable energy education with us!

Join us as we highlight Solar and Agriculture: Growing Together. The event is a celebration of renewable energy development in rural communities.

This year’s event will feature agricultural demonstrations to highlight ways clean energy and agriculture provide significant economic and workforce development opportunities in NC’s rural communities.

Watch the sheep as they demonstrate natural vegetation management in our solar fields. Meet industry experts, farmers and landowners and learn how solar and agriculture co-exist.

Examine the energy innovations that have moved from the lab to the field. Talk with industry representatives about the range of green energy workforce options. Take a seat in one of the multiple electric vehicles displayed on-site.

Meet with local students and hear their expectations that renewables are vital to their clean energy futures.

C4EE’s Clean Power Avenue of Flags is an artistic, visual reminder of how renewable energy can encourage conversation. The flags are fabricated of yarn transformed from recycled ocean plastics.
