Sylvan Heights Bird Park will be celebrating World Waterfowl Day on January 17, 2026 with events throughout the day. Meet waterfowl up close during Keeper Chats with park bird keepers, plus enjoy waterfowl-themed games, crafts, and activities!

We invite you to join us in celebrating World Waterfowl Day, an event which we hope will grow and gain international support each year. Sylvan Heights Bird Park is establishing this awareness day to draw attention to waterfowl and their wetland habitat, and to foster greater public appreciation for these fascinating birds.
