Join us for a student's story, hands-on walking tour with an NC Wildlife Conservation Biologist, Farm to Table meals, and immersive project to put knowledge to practice by clearing invasive plants. Workshop includes Friday evening Meet and Greet with baked potato and chili bar dinner (veggie and meat options) and talk with Edward McDonald, Master of Forestry student at Duke Nicholas School of Environment; Saturday light Breakfast; Hands-on Walking Tour with James Sasser, Wildlife conservation Biologist, District 3, Certified Wildlife Biologist; Farm to Table Lunch; Immersive Practice to improve Wildlife Habitat. Fee is $80 per person; workshop is limited to 20 people.
